Weesp commemorates the fallen of World War II and subsequent wars in which the Netherlands was involved.
The commemoration begins at the Synagogue in Weesp. From there, the Silent March departs for the monument on the Ossenmarkt. The commemoration will take place there between 19.25 and 20.25. Afterwards, the Remembrance Service begins in the Grote Kerk in Weesp.

The Commemoration at the Monument on the Ossenmarkt starts at 19.25
Programme at the Monument: Music by Harmonie de Adelaar, Singing by Gina de Jong, Poem by Corry Alberts, Speech by Katinka Hilders (chair of the board committee), Tattoo by Guido Former. After two minutes of silence, two verses of the National Anthem will be played, then wreath laying and a parade past the Monument.
The Memorial Service starts at 20.45
The theme of the Remembrance Service is ‘Music and War’, and includes Chamber Choir Victoria from Weesp, storyteller Huib Ramaer and various solo performances.
