Festival Ontsnapte Klanken will fill The Roode Bioscoop and the Haarlemmerplein. More than anyone, these artists know that freedom cannot be taken for granted. They fled their motherland a long or short time ago and will draw you into their story from the stage.

Featuring Solomon Eyasu, Babak-O-Doestan and Wasim Arslan (who had to cut his performance short last year to play for royalty), Veronica Castro and Hernan Ruiz, Marion Bloem and Colectivo Capre Diem.

As well as a stage programme on the square, Ontsnapte Klanken offers space for word and image. Continuous documentaries with similar themes will be shown in the auditorium of the Roode Bioscoop.
