We, Diversity House and SET IJburg, invite you to join our Freedom Meal on May 5th. The concept of our meal is to cook your favourite family dish and bring along to eat together.
Martin Luther King Jr once said people fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other because they have not communicated with each other. It is time on May 5 in remembrance of the fallen souls in the Second World War to come together and try to get along, know, dine, sing dance and communicate with each other.

About Diversity House
We want to use this project to integrate the community of refugees in other communities in Amsterdam, so that they are united as one family. By being a member of this community to form a ‘family’, people are encouraged and supported to freely and equally participate in lay society, and informal contacts.
