Samen met de Welcome App en de Beste Nieuwkomer organiseert Pacific Amsterdam op 5 mei een Vrijheidsmaaltijd.
Tijdens dit diner wordt er een kunstexpositie gepresenteerd die de hele maand mei zal hangen bij Pacific. Voor deze kunstexpositie zijn drie kunstenaars geselecteerd (Rabiea Alshikkador, Marwa Hamwi en Kamel Kayali) die gevlucht zijn uit hun land van herkomst. Samen met presentator Hoseb Assadour, ook gevlucht, gaan ze in gesprek over vrijheid, hun verhaal en hun werk.
Neem een nieuwkomer mee uit eten door twee tickets te kopen. Het vegetarische driegangendiner wordt verzorgt door de chefs van Pacific en gesponsord door Haymana. Alle opbrengsten gaan naar Stichting Vluchtelingenwerk Nederland.
Together with the Welcome App and the Best Newcomer, Pacific Amsterdam organises a Freedom Meal on the 5th of May.
The dinner concies with the opening of a special art exposition which you can visit throughout the month of May. Three refugee artists have been selected to show their work (Rabiea Alshikkador, Marwa Hamwi en Kamel Kayali). Together with moderator Anwar Manlasadoon, also a refugee, they will discuss the influence of freedom, war and refuge has on their lives and their artistic work.
Bring a newcomer by buying two tickets. The vegetarian three course diners is prepared by the chefs at the Pacific and is sponsored by Haymana. All revenues go to the Dutch Council for Refugees.
